Our main focus is to help you to better understand what may be contributing to your problem and figure out how to address it. 


At your initial assessment:


- We go through a thorough history, taking into account any lifestyle, training, or medical factors that may influence your recovery.

- We perform an in depth physical assessment to screen for any serious conditions and narrow down potential causes of your pain.

- You will be asked to perform the movements that bring on your pain.

- We may include sport/exercise-specific movements to better understand how you move.

- We will explain our findings, including what we believe is contributing to your pain and what steps are needed to begin your recovery.

- We will go through exercises and movements that can support your recovery, helping to build strength, tolerance, and confidence in the affected area.

- We will provide tailored advice and education, including activities to do more of and others to reduce or modify while you are getting better.

- We will give sport-specific, activity, and load-management advice, as training volume and intensity are closely linked with injury risk.

- We will discuss the level of support you would like throughout the recovery process and arrange check-ins at a frequency that works best for you.
